It’s that time of year again….to find the perfect outfit, make the resolutions you will stick to until about January 5, and make your New Year’s Eve plans! Here is your go to guide for all your possible options:

The pub hosts a New Year’s Eve dinner party beginning at 9 p.m. Cost is $125 per person, plus tax and gratuity. The evening includes a top shelf, open bar cocktail party with appetizers in the Tap Room, followed by a steak and lobster buffet, with all the trimmings, in the dining room. The buffet will include lobster tails, Prime Rib, Porterhouse steaks, truffled mac n cheese and shrimp cocktail. At midnight, ring in 2012 with a champagne toast and dance the night away when the dining room is converted to a dance floor and a DJ spins. Reservations are limited to 50 guests.

This upscale bar hosts a party starting at 9 p.m. The evening includes open bar, hot and cold buffet, champagne toast, party favors and a breakfast buffet at 2 a.m. The cost is $50 per person, gratuity not included.

The gala featues a four-course dinner including a duet plate of scallops and filet mignon. The evening also features an open bar, Champagne toast at midnight and breakfast buffet the next morning. Overnight accommodations are available. It’s all for $499 for two including tax and gratuity.

At Novita you can choose to join the Wine Dinner offered for $79 per person, including wine, or $55 per person without. Reservations are available until 7 pm and the menu includes a 3 course meal with antipasto, osso bucco or scallops, and dessert. If you want more of a party, choose the Party option for $125 per person plus tax and service charge. The party includes a DJ, cocktail hour, three course sit down dinner, and a top shelf open bar.

Situated right on the Long Beach Boardwalk, the New Year’s Eve events will take place in the Atlantica Restaurant, L’onda and rooftop lounges. The hotel is also offering a private party in the rooftop lounge, Jack’s on the Rocks, with panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and the New York City skyline. Room packages are available.
Choose from a sit-down dinner from 8 p.m.-1 a.m. featuring live entertainment by the Skyline Orchestra ($130 pp). Or enjoy a buffet dinner served from 9:30 p.m.-2 a.m., with tunes by That 70s Band ($120 pp). Both INCLUDE tax and gratuity (which is rare) and come with Breakfast To Go.

The Sit, Stay and Play option is $125 per person and is the same four course meal with the open bar continuing until 2 am. The VIP Lounge package starts at 10 pm and includes a complimentary bottle and a reserved section of the lounge for $150 each. Finally, the 5-course dinner goes from 9:30 pm until 2 am and includes a 5 course tasting menu, open bar, DJ, hats and noisemakers.

Attention NYE experts! Your quest for a private party in a public place has been answered. The Chalet offers room rentals for 10-15 people in its intimately appointed den-like space. This 5-hour event includes open bar, dinner and champagne toast. Smaller groups can join the festivities at 9pm for $100 per person.

For those interested in “The Scene.” TKA, the kings of freestyle and the Lords of New Year’s Eve, will be on stage to ring in the New Year. DJ Serg will spin the best house, hip hop and top hits. There will be two seatings held at 7 and 9pm of fixed-course dinners with different options. Guests that want to celebrate but skip dinner may enter at 11pm to enjoy the late night action for a cover at the door.

This brand-spanking new venue is full of entertainment and character with a downtown vibe. Dennis Rodman (yes, the former b-baller) will be the main event on New Year’s Eve DJing with Vic Latino on The Redemption Tour. This spectacular show includes special guest Mia Martina who sings the hit “Stereo Love.”

The luxurious Garden City Hotel provides a spectacular countdown to the New Year with two options for an extravagant evening held in either the hotel’s Rein restaurant or the Grand Ballroom. Guests can watch Times Square light up on any of the four flat screens while they also enjoy an open bar for $250 per person. An elite gala dinner being held in the Grand Ballroom kicks off at 8:30pm with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres for an hour followed by an evening of live music including the best current dance, rock and throwback 80s hits until 2am.
